Satellites can cover large areas rapidly and regularly. Ground-truth data enables calibration of remote-sensing readings, and being on the ground is not subject to interruption during cloudy periods. Our equipment is robust as they are designed for agricultural use so are suitable for unattended operation. They also have a full range of sensors to detect disturbance or report their location should they have been moved.
